Red Panda – Chengdu, Sichuan

We went to see the great pandas at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, as part of our travelling through China.  An unexpected bonus (for me at least), was coming across the Red Panda, perhaps the closest thing to an inspiration for Ewoks I have ever seen.

I know some people don’t like the Ewoks, but I was a big fan of the film!
